Google's Find My Device network expands to US and Canada, leveraging 1 billion Android devices for lost phone tracking.

Google's Find My Device network, a crowdsourced location tracking feature, is now available for Android users in the US and Canada. The service utilizes over 1 billion Android devices to help locate lost phones and tablets, even when they're offline. Google's Pixel 8 and 8 Pro devices can even be found when they're powered off or have dead batteries. Starting in May, users will also be able to locate everyday items like keys and wallets using Bluetooth tracker tags from Chipolo and Pebblebee.
