Former BPE Director-General, Alex Okoh, acquitted of contempt charges in ALSCON ownership dispute.

Former BPE Director-General, Alex Okoh, has been acquitted of contempt charges in a legal dispute over Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON) ownership. The Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed all charges against Okoh in a case between BPE and BFIG, dating back to 2003 when NCP initiated ALSCON's privatization process. Okoh's acquittal brings closure to his legal entanglements concerning ALSCON, BPE, and BFIG.
