FCT Minister suspends Abuja's International Conference Centre events for 8 months for rehabilitation by contractor Julius Berger.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has suspended all events at Abuja's International Conference Centre for eight months to enable holistic rehabilitation of the facility by contractor Julius Berger. Wike terminated the contract of Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd, previously managing the centre, and announced the decision after inspecting the facility. The minister also described the centre as lacking "anything international about it."
