Delhi High Court issues notice to Union sports ministry for WFI's suspension appeal.
The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the Union sports ministry, seeking its response within four weeks, in the Wrestling Federation of India's (WFI) plea challenging its suspension by the Centre. The court has listed the matter for May 28. The WFI's suspension was announced on December 24, 2023, by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs for "blatant disregard for established legal and procedural norms."
