A body was found floating in a retention pond in a residential area off Hillside Avenue and East 24th Street in Indianapolis' near northside Monday morning. Indianapolis Fire Department crews responded around 11:50 a.m. and the person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and age of the individual have not been released, and investigators are gathering further information on the incident.
