Australian exploration company Prospect Resources acquires the Mumbezhi copper-cobalt project in Zambia's copper belt for US$5.5m in cash. The project, with potential for large tonnage, low-to-mid grade copper-cobalt deposits, is located near major mining operations. Prospect Resources aims to expand its battery minerals presence in sub-Saharan Africa with the acquisition.
