Ascend Elements and Elemental Strategic Metals create AE Elemental, a 50/50 joint venture in Poland for electric vehicle battery recycling. The venture will own and operate an advanced Li-ion EV battery recycling facility in Zawiercie, Poland, with plans for another in central Germany. The facility will disassemble, discharge, and shred EV batteries to produce black mass for new engineered EV battery materials.
