Argentina faces a rising dengue epidemic risk due to mosquitoes hatching earlier and reaching cooler regions than before. Rising temperatures are driving the country's worst outbreak of dengue fever, with the South American nation recording 232,996 cases in the 2023/24 season, well above the previous all-time high of 130,000. The early hatching of mosquitoes is increasing the risk of more regular epidemics.
