Indian-origin Sikh builder Buta Singh Gill and another man were shot dead at a construction site in Edmonton, Canada on April 8. Gill was the owner of luxury home-building company Gill Built Homes Ltd. and was known for his ties to the Punjabi community and his involvement in a local Sikh temple. The Edmonton Police Service is investigating the deaths of the two males at the construction site in the Cavanagh area of the city.
