Actress Ankita Lokhande is set to star in a web series titled 'Amrapali', produced by filmmaker Sandeep Singh. Lokhande will portray Amrapali, the celebrated and glamorous 'nagarvadhu', as the series delves into her journey from being an imperial courtesan to choosing to become a Buddhist nun. The web series, which marks the return of composer and musician Ismail Darbar, is scheduled to release soon.
