22-year-old transgender woman, Barbie Kardashian, appeared in Limerick Circuit Criminal Court on charges of threatening to kill or cause serious harm to two women in 2023. Kardashian, with no fixed abode, is accused of making threats on four separate occasions, in violation of Section 5 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the State Act, 1997. The trial was adjourned due to the case not being immediately ready to proceed.
