22-year-old Pranav Karad from Pune has gone missing while serving as a deck cadet on a merchant ship sailing from Indonesia to Singapore. Employed by Wilhelmsen Ship Management India Pvt Ltd for the last six months, Karad's father reported the incident, and a search operation is underway for his recovery. The family has reached out to the Union government for assistance and contacted Mumbai and Pune police.
