43-year-old man and 42-year-old woman arrested in Phnom Penh for trafficking 17 kg of narcotics.
Cambodia has arrested two local people for possessing and trafficking over 17 kg of narcotics, including crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, and ketamine. The Anti-Drug Department (ADP) apprehended a 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman during raids in Phnom Penh's Russei Keo district. Under Cambodian law, someone found guilty of trafficking over 80 grams of illicit drugs could face life imprisonment.
