28-year-old man charged with stalking former Newcastle Knights rugby legend, Andrew Johns, in the Bronte beach area. Reports suggest Johns was repeatedly followed while surfing, outside his home, and at a local café. The suspect was initially charged on March 31st and refused bail, before being granted bail in April. He was later re-arrested on April 2nd for breaching bail and sent for a mental health assessment.
