47-year-old Jeffrey Kale from South Carolina went missing during a fishing trip off the North Carolina coast on a 32-foot center-console boat. The US Coast Guard is searching between Blackjack and Steeples areas off NC, 7 miles apart and 30 miles southeast of Southport. Kale was last seen departing the Southport Wildlife Boat Ramp on Saturday afternoon and was reported overdue by his family later that night.
