27-year-old inmate found dead in Santa Clara County Main Jail; no foul play suspected. The man, held alone in his cell, was found unresponsive at 4:15 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was booked on Oct. 20 on charges of attempted robbery, burglary, and vandalism. The Sheriff's Office, District Attorney's Office, and Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
