73-year-old driver, Randolph Allen Ford, faces charges after hitting a 23-year-old man on a Lime scooter in downtown Nashville, leaving the scooter operator with critical injuries. Ford allegedly sped when he hit the scooter, drove off the road, and hit a utility pole and railroad ties. He was not wearing a seatbelt and showed signs of impairment, leading to a blood sample being taken for analysis.
