South Korea has successfully launched its second homegrown spy satellite into orbit on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch comes as part of South Korea's plan to acquire five spy satellites by 2025 to monitor North Korea. The second satellite is equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensors, allowing it to capture data regardless of weather conditions.
