Pottawatomie County residents in the northwest area, north of Hwy 16, west of Shannon Creek Rd, and north of Marshall County line, were asked to evacuate on 7th April due to a fast-moving wildfire, driven by strong winds. Evacuees were advised to head south. Officials warned that more information will be provided as it becomes available.
