Three people, including a Port St. Lucie couple, were killed in a head-on crash in Lake Wales on Saturday night. The crash occurred on State Road 60 East when 22-year-old Hannah Wieser, of Winter Haven, attempted to pass a Kia van in the oncoming lane. Her Ford Flex collided head-on with a Ford F-150 carrying the Port St. Lucie couple, Luis Rodriguez, 54, and Jomar Maldonado, 52, and their 3-year-old grandson, Jaydyn. The young child survived and is expected to make a full recovery.
