Norwegian offshore-wind firm Norwind orders first CSOV with two 3D cranes, Norwind Helm.
Norwind Offshore, a Norwegian offshore-wind-focused vessel owner, has placed an order for a stand-alone, fully electric ECMC 7t-3D crane for its newbuild vessel, Norwind Helm. This will make Norwind Helm the first CSOV (Commissioning Service Operation Vessel) to have two 3D cranes installed. The crane delivery is scheduled during summer, with the newbuild vessel set to be delivered by Vard Brattvaag in November 2024.
