9 MRP activists sentenced 3 years for peaceful protest, 6 released including leader Moyo; 3 others to remain imprisoned.

9 Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) activists were sentenced to 3 years for a peaceful protest outside Bulawayo Central police station, demanding their leader Mqondisi Moyo's release. Six were recently released, including Banda and Moyo, and the party now appeals for donations for the released activists and their families. Three others will remain imprisoned for another three months.
