China's border inspection agencies handled nearly 5.19m entry-exit trips during the Qingming Festival holiday, marking a 69.6% increase over the same period in 2023. This resulted in a daily average of 1.73m trips, with residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan accounting for 35.9% of the total trips. Residents from the Chinese mainland saw a 101.7% increase in trips, while foreigners experienced a 163.2% increase.
