Woody, a merino sheep found wandering the streets of Woodstock, NSW, sheds 10.3kg of wool after three years on the run. Originally from Grenfell, Woody escaped a community paddock and took up residence near the local tip, relying on food and water from residents. Concerned about his heavy fleece, local residents sought a shearer, and last week, Woodstock Rural Fire Service volunteers captured him.
