European Commission approves €267M state aid for Volvo's electric vehicle plant in Slovakia.
The European Commission has approved €267M ($289M) state aid for Volvo's new electric vehicle plant in Slovakia. The investment aid will support the establishment of the plant in Valaliky near Kosice in Eastern Slovakia, contributing to job creation, regional development, and the European Green Deal. The plant is expected to have an initial capacity of 250,000 electric vehicles per year.
