Delta firefighters spent several hours battling a mill fire on Sunday morning, starting around 1 a.m. A sizable pile of lumber was ablaze beneath an overhang at the time. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and fire crews continued to work on controlling the flames throughout the morning. The mill was not operational at the time, and no injuries were reported.
