Luxury watchmaker Bulgari has set a new world record for the thinnest mechanical watch with the unveiling of its Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC, measuring just 1.70mm thick. The watch, featuring a manually wound BVL180 caliber movement with 170 components, is COSC-certified and comes with a 50-hour power reserve. The Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC is limited to 20 pieces and has a price tag of $529,000.
