Bon Secours Hospital in Galway plans €36.5m expansion, including two new theatres, four theatre recovery bays, 14 surgical dayward bays, and expanded endoscopy services with a fourth endoscopy treatment room and 16 new endoscopy bays. The plans will be submitted to Galway City Council for consideration. Recent investments have included relocating the minor operating procedure room, adding a third endoscopy suite, and a Magnetom Sola MRI scanner.
