56-year-old Lizette Marielle Steyn, ex-finance and admin manager of AgriCAD, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for stealing R16m over a three-year period. Employed from February 2019, Steyn had access to AgriCAD's bank accounts and used this opportunity to redirect funds to her personal Capitec accounts. The money was used to install solar panels in her home and pay for her daughter's wedding.
