12-year-old girl rescued from sea during Storm Kathleen in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin; treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A girl was rescued from the sea off Dun Laoghaire in Co Dublin during Storm Kathleen. Emergency services, including the Coast Guard, RNLI, Garda, ambulance service, and Dublin fire brigade, were involved in the operation after the youngster was swept out to sea from the east pier of Dun Laoghaire Harbour at around 8.20pm. The girl was taken to a hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
