On Saturday morning in Pittsburgh's Carrick neighborhood, a woman was fatally hit by a vehicle at 6 a.m. on Brownsville Road. The 73-year-old driver, traveling northbound, did not initially see the pedestrian wearing black attire. The driver called 911, remained at the scene, and cooperated with authorities. The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
