33-year-old Ashley Gaddie, accused of murdering 31-year-old teacher Dannielle Finlay-Jones after meeting her on a dating app, was found dead in his cell at the Clarence Correctional Centre. Gaddie's body was discovered in prison 16 months after he was charged with the murder in December 2022. The incident is being investigated by Serco, Corrective Services NSW, and NSW Police, with all deaths in custody subject to a coronial inquest.
