Toronto police arrested two men, Stephen Smith (40) & Bernie Stokes (23), for a roofing scam in North York. The suspects falsely claimed a home's roof & chimney needed urgent work & removed the chimney without permission. Facing fraud & mischief charges over $5,000, police advise residents to be cautious when solicited & not share info with strangers; more victims are suspected.
