8th grader William Rausch from Royalton wins the Region 5 Spelling Bee with the word 'Profundity'. He will represent the region for the second consecutive year at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. William practices using the "Word Club" app, which helps him pronounce and understand words before spelling them. His mom, Stacey Rausch, is proud of his 4,000-word retention capability ahead of the nationals.
