South Korea's hydrogen FCEV charging infrastructure has worsened over the past three years, with the number of hydrogen FCEVs per charging station rising from 180 to 203 in March 2022, reflecting a lack of charging spots for hydrogen car owners. The number of hydrogen cars registered increased from 12,439 to 34,872, while the number of hydrogen charging stations increased from 69 to 172. Sejong experienced the most significant decline, while Gangwon Province saw the most improvement.
