Sierra Leone, a horse trained by Ken McPeek, won the $1 million Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland, securing a spot in next month's 150th Kentucky Derby. Sierra Leone overcame a challenging entry into the No. 10 far outside post and a slower start, eventually outpacing Just A Touch by 1 1/2 lengths. The horse earned 100 points in the qualifying standings for the Derby on May 4 at Churchill Downs.
