Plateau State University's management denies allegations of the National Universities Commission (NUC) planning to close down the institution. APC's acting Publicity Secretary in Plateau, Shittu Bamaiyi, had alleged NUC's decision to withdraw recognition and accreditation over state government's involvement in university management. Registrar Yakubu Ayuba refutes the allegations, calling them false, misleading, and mischievous.
