One person died after a high-speed crash in Kansas City, MO near 63rd Street and Hardesty, where a silver Chevrolet Equinox failed to negotiate a curve, hit a concrete drainage culvert, and overturned. The unrestrained driver, the sole occupant, was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. This is the 32nd traffic fatality this year, compared to 18 at the same time last year.
