Newcastle Jets may host a semi-final at Maitland Sportsground if they win their elimination final against Western United this Saturday. The Jets' executive chairman, Shane Mattiske, has informed the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) of Maitland as the preferred venue option for a potential home semi-final. If selected, the Jets would take on Melbourne City in a home-and-away semi-final series scheduled for April 19-21.
