A large wildfire in Woodward County, Oklahoma, has led to evacuations and the establishment of evacuation centers. The fire, which started near the town of Sharon, has prompted Governor Kevin Stitt to request Fire Management Assistance Grants from FEMA. Evacuation shelters have been set up at 1209 9th Street in Woodward and Faith United Methodist Church at 1402 Texas Ave. Wildfires have also been reported in other nearby counties, making this a developing situation.
