Rats destroyed 10 kg of bhang and 9 kg of ganja confiscated and stored in a police station in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district. Police informed the court and submitted a report, stating rats had completely destroyed the narcotics substances in the police station's malkhana (store). An FIR had been lodged against Shambhu Prasad Agrawal and his son, who were arrested in 2018 for possession of the drugs.
