Top-ranked recruit Sarah Strong, the Naismith High School Player of the Year, committed to play at UConn, joining a strong recruiting class that includes Allie Ziebell and Morgan Cheli. Strong, a 6-foot-2 forward from North Carolina, chose UConn over offers from ACC powerhouses Duke and UNC. She is the third No. 1 overall prospect to choose UConn in the past five seasons, joining Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd.
