Woonona community members rallied to help new neighbour Susan Jarnason clean up after storms caused flooding in her home, with neighbours comforting, cleaning, and providing support. Meanwhile, in Figtree, Byarong Creek burst its banks after heavy rain, causing a car to float down the street. Both communities praised the State Emergency Services and police for checking on residents.
