Cambodian villagers revived a centuries-old tradition by racing ox carts on 7 April in Samraong Tong district's Prey Rumduol village, 40 km west of Phnom Penh. The racers, adorned in traditional attire, competed in a 1,300-meter dirt track event, attracting hundreds of spectators. The race marked the end of the rice harvest and was held ahead of the traditional Lunar New Year.
