Billionaire Brazilian investor Jorge Paulo Lemann, along with partners Marcel Telles and Carlos Sicupira, aim to save retailer Americanas SA after a $5 billion fraud led to bankruptcy. The trio owned Americanas since the 1980s and now own about half of the business amid debt restructuring. They blame the previous management led by Miguel Gutierrez for misleading the board and hiding information.
