Bengaluru's BWSSB is considering a first-of-its-kind initiative to supply treated water to industries through dedicated pipelines, starting with Peenya Industrial Area. The board aims to reduce dependence on the Cauvery river for water supply. With 1,480 MLD wastewater generated daily, the treated water could become a viable alternative for non-potable purposes.
