25-year-old Raushan Kumar was arrested in Raipur, Chhattisgarh for cheating people through fake social media ads on machine tools and spare parts. Posing as a wholesaler, he cheated over 20 people out of Rs 20 lakh over a year by providing fake invoices from reputed firms. Kumar was charged under sections 420 (cheating), 468 (forgery), and 471 (using as genuine a forged document) of the Indian Penal Code.
