A Haitian migrant, 30-year-old Kenol Baptiste, is accused of fatally stabbing his two roommates in Middletown, NY, while awaiting a federal deportation hearing. Baptiste has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. The victims, Marie Saint Vilus and Rosbert Myrtil, were also Haitian asylum-seekers. Police have not yet determined a motive for the attack.
