23-year-old Colin Andrew Shapard has been sentenced to 20 years in prison and 36 months of parole for distributing fentanyl that nearly killed a Utah resident in 2022. Shapard previously faced no jail time for providing drugs that killed two 13-year-old boys in Park City in 2016. The 2022 overdose occurred after Shapard shipped fentanyl through the U.S. Mail and sold it to an 18-year-old resident.
