Child hit by driver in Roanoke, driver arrested for hit-and-run: A child was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a driver in Roanoke on Friday evening. The driver, Shakayla Andrews, did not stay at the scene but was later found and arrested on a felony hit-and-run charge and for outstanding warrants. The investigation is ongoing.
